What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra draws on the natural processes of sleep to return to the source, a state of awareness where each of us can awaken our true nature. By consciously entering the threshold between sleep and waking, we rest more deeply and move into the vastness beyond the mind.
Yoga Nidra is one of the most powerful and focused methods of awakening and healing, both physical and spiritual. It helps with sleep problems, burnout, anxiety and depression, and eases physical ailments.
Yoga Nidra sees stress, insomnia or addictive behavior as the visible expression of invisible causes. Working only with the symptoms keeps us busy for a lifetime. Working with the cause and the symptoms together resolves the problem.
The training
This transformative training gives you a deep understanding of this ancient practice. Step by step, the teachings guide you through a personal and practical journey of growth that helps you see life in a bigger picture.
Two Yoga Nidra practices a day allow insight and transformation to take root, around 8 sessions over four days. Research shows that measurable changes take place in the brain after 11 Yoga Nidra sessions.
The training is a wonderful addition for psychologists, mindfulness teachers, yoga teachers and anyone in healthcare who wants new tools to support their clients.
