Colors, colors, colors – vitamins for body and soul
The chakras are like colorful musical notes within us, longing for attention. Let's dust them off, give them a bath of love and enjoy letting them shine.
The body can be compared to many things, but in yoga it is often called the temple of the soul. This temple is the most precious thing we are given. Inside it are rooms, halls, nooks and crannies. The chakras are a kind of project manager for certain areas of the temple, and when all the staff are well nourished and in good spirits, the temple is bright and miracles come true. Sometimes one of the managers gets confused and forgets what to do, which is very common. It depends on where the energy in the body is low, or sometimes overcharged. Which method is best to restore balance? One way is through the healing power of Kundalini yoga.
Kundalini is a kind of power or electricity, a life force that lives within every human being. We have 8 chakras. This power rests in the lowest two. We use it every day to live. The more we awaken this energy, the more strength we gain, and the stronger the energy, the more aware we become. If we keep nurturing this energy, it can rise all the way up the spine and we connect with universal consciousness. Our body is designed like a musical instrument, and we can tune it to any frequency we wish. For example, the frequency of love, which is in harmony with our soul. The soul is part of the whole world. Its purpose is to connect with the universal force and so take part in creation.
In this workshop we will use colorful intuition to work deep within, clear and tune the chakras. All yoga practices have a positive effect on the chakras.
Just for fun, we invite you to come dressed in your favorite color, and we'll play a joyful color game.
