Sigrún Heiða (Siddí)
Doing this yoga training is one of the best decisions I've ever made for myself. For me it was so much more than yoga postures. It was a beautiful sanctuary and a journey inward. The training taught me to slow down and find inner calm in the middle of everyday storms. I come out of it stronger, much more patient, more flexible and with tools in hand that will serve me for the rest of my life. I made friends for life. It completely changed how I approach life, and I wholeheartedly recommend this training!

The yoga training gave me so much more than I expected. The spirit in the group was lovely and the teachers were wonderful. The training added new tools to my toolbox, and today yoga practice has become part of who I am. I am full of gratitude.

The yoga teacher training at Jógasetrið has been a lovely journey inward. It gave me a good understanding of yoga and yoga teaching, while also being nourishing self-care and a chance to connect more deeply with my own body, mind and heart. In the training I gained precious yoga sisters and met wonderful teachers who led with great warmth. I wholeheartedly recommend the training to anyone who wants to grow, both as a yoga teacher and as a person.

I can recommend this transformative training with joy and pride. The teaching was fun and well presented, and in fact richer and deeper than I expected. What stands out for me, besides the excellent teaching and deep inner work, is that I learned to show myself real gentleness and kindness.

What stands out is how Auður has woven all these threads together with her insight, experience, intuition and wisdom. Gathered them and made them accessible. She leads by example. She lets others share in her own path of growth and the lessons she learns along the way. Yoga philosophy in action. Love as the guiding light. That is what has stood out for me.

This yoga journey has been quiet and powerful at the same time. The progress hasn't always been visible, but it has happened in the breath that no one hears but me — in the awareness that suddenly grows, in the moment I choose presence over performance. When I don't need to prove anything 💜 A gentle homecoming. A space where the body listens and the mind bows. Because the most powerful transformation is not the one that is seen, but the one that is felt. I have made a dream come true and I am a changed person. My heart has grown 💜 This has been a beautiful and transformative journey under the strong guidance, experience and wisdom of dear Auður Bjarnadóttir and the guest teachers. I so warmly recommend this yoga training to everyone, whether you plan to teach or not, truly one of the best gifts I have given myself 💜🙏💜

The yoga teacher training at Jógasetrið was a transformative journey for me, and the best part of the journey was coming home. Home to myself, to my true self, and learning to nurture that self. The training gave me amazing wisdom, friends and tools for life. I am deeply grateful to have met all these precious souls and to have learned from wonderful yoga masters and teachers. Signing up for this training is one of the best decisions I have ever made. If you've been thinking about yoga teacher training and want to go deep, Jógasetrið is the place, with dear Auður and her people as your guides.

Auður Bjarnadóttir was the lead teacher, oversaw the whole training and shared her vast knowledge of yoga postures, breath, mantras and meditation with us. She opened a new view of existence for me, where awareness is not limited to what we can see but reaches into dimensions both tangible and intangible. She taught me to experience that I am part of the whole: "I am that and that is me." This view of unity and connection is one of the things that has moved me most. She also made a point of connecting the teachings and methods of different teachers, both from the training itself and from her own experience, which gave me a broader and deeper understanding of yoga practice.
