A stronger Yoga Flow on Mondays and Wednesdays, and a softer one on Fridays.
Kindly arrive in good time so we can begin each class in stillness.
Nidra means sleep, but unlike sleep, Yoga Nidra is a conscious, deep relaxation, a guided meditation lying down
In Yoga Nidra you are guided into a deep state of relaxation beyond the senses. This deep relaxation helps release tension and the blocks in the mind that can weigh us down in daily life.
Stress is an underlying factor in many illnesses. It can show up in many forms, and is sometimes so woven into our lives that we don't even notice it until it starts causing problems. Yoga Nidra is one of many paths to healing.
You are guided into relaxation and gradually into its deepest layers. There the body can heal itself, find balance and release stress, anxiety and restless thoughts. Yoga Nidra helps healthy people cope with a heavy load, and can help those who are unwell find relief from pain or illness.
Each class begins with 30–40 minutes of gentle yoga postures before the deep relaxation. You may like to bring your own eye pillow or a scarf to rest over your eyes.
