The class begins with a breathing exercise and a gentle warm-up to move the energy and make the relaxation even more enjoyable.
After the warm-up, everyone settles into a comfortable relaxation position and enjoys the effects of the gong. A short meditation at the end. You're welcome to bring your own blanket, eye pillow or anything else that helps you sink into deep relaxation. Blankets and cushions are also available here.
„We call it the Music of Wholeness,“ – Don Conreaux
The Earth is about 70% water, and the gravitational pull of the moon and sun controls the level of the sea.
Our bodies are also about 70% water, and the brain about 80%.
Many believe the moon's pull affects people just as it does the ocean.
It is said that at the full moon we may become more emotionally sensitive and feel more vulnerable. So it's a good time to take loving care of ourselves around the full moon, to look deeper within and feel all our emotions consciously. That's why it's good to make time for relaxation and meditation, so we can think more clearly, listen to our intuition and sense more fully all that we are experiencing. Gong relaxation is sound healing. The gong is a powerful healing tool for the nervous system, body and soul. It helps us cleanse the subconscious and release constant thoughts. It is used as a form of therapy to bring about theta waves in the brain, a frequency that supports healing, renewal and relaxation. The sound waves of the gong have helped many people reset and find balance again after periods of stress and trauma.
The gong is used as an alternative sound therapy all over the world today, mainly within yogic and spiritual traditions.
