Tara, a Buddhist monk and teacher in Northern California, will be teaching meditation class in Reykjavik at Jógasetrið.
This is Tara from the Vajranandacharya Buddhist school in San Francisco. I wanted to let you know that I will be coming to Reykjavik to lead a Free Meditation Class at JÓGASETRIÐ!

In this class we will cover an introduction to meditation and mindfulness. We will have beautiful and high meditations! We’ll also discuss the Four Noble Truths of Buddhism, which explore the human condition of suffering and the way out of it. This subject will continue our study of the Enlightenment Workbook of Buddhist Mysticism by Samvara.
For those of you who’ve attended introductory mediation classes before, this class will help you expand on your knowledge and deepen your meditation practice.

Tara is a senior monk at the Vajranandacharya Buddhist Church. She studies Dzogchen Indo-Tibetan Buddhism and Karma Yoga with the Ajahn Samvara. She was ordained as a Buddhist Monk at the age of 29. She has received teaching empowerments and has been teaching meditation, mindfulness and karma yoga since 2008.
